November Bolton Unique Ladies Meeting

November Bolton Unique Ladies Meeting
November saw our last networking for 2024!
On Friday 8th November we held our in-person networking event at Bolton Old Links Golf Club. This was a special one as it was our last at the golf club, so a massive thank you to Liz and her team for looking after us for the last 2 years.
We had the following gorgeous ladies join us this month:
Laura Leyland, Co-Founder and Managing Director from Fresh Perspective was our inspirational speaker and Claire Thorpe, Somatic Coach and Business Mentor was our educational speaker.

Andrea Parker, from Boxed Green Co
Angela Kelly, Freelance Journalist & Media Consultant
Cath Spink, from Neon Creations
Elisa Horman, from Awakening Pursuits
Joanne Parker, from Just The Tonic Skincare
Our Bolton online networking took place on Monday 16th November and we were joined by:
Maggie Jenkins, Avon
Karen Holt, Karen Holt Artist
Claire Thorpe, Somatic Experiencing Coach | Business Mentor
Michelle Thomas, Happy Business Club
We did speed networking and Michelle shared the proof of awesomeness approach from the Hacktice Club. For our accountability and goal setting piece, we worked on our Advent Calendar submissions – watch this space across the Unique Ladies socials over the course of December.

£2 from each of our networking tickets sold goes towards our chosen charity for the networking year – this year we are supporting The Bereavement Cafe.
Other lovely Unique Ladies we have caught up with this month outside of the networking rooms:
Lisa Brown took over our Facebook Group and shared her passion for all things Tropic.

We had the absolute privilege of attending the Backup Ladies Lunch
Well done to everyone at Backup for the amazing event that you put on and for all of the associated fundraising – Maura Jackson, Laura Pendlebury, Claire Hand, Ed Hamer
It was lovely to see Joan Lynd, Sarah Graham, Lisa Brown, Jane Dixon, Julia Riewald, Belinda Daniels, Julia Page
And to finally meet Becci Martin, and so sorry to miss you Jenna Atkinson – can’t believe we where in the same room and our paths did not cross!
We also attended The Bereavement Café Charity lunch and it was so lovely to see Jane Dixon and Sally Adamson pulling together their community of supporters at their fundraising lunch.
This year saw the unveiling of the Bereavement Café Quilt. Brilliantly co-ordinated by the very talented Dawn Elliott
Also lovely to see Angela Kelly, Claire Saunders and Dorothy Cooper – and expo’ing her Tropic passion Lisa Brown
I have also been experiencing Claire Thorpe’s Nourish Your Nervous System – I have been very poor at making the live classes however have been catching up on the replay – the experience has been just magical and really grounded me at a very busy time of year!
I caught one of Liz Hardwicks unbelievably productive co-working session as part of the Productivity Club, which I find very beneficial to just pause.
We had a trip over to Unique Ladies Stockport to see the lovely ladies in that neck of the woods.

A chilly day but such a warming and impactful meeting – treated to a Christmas surprise from Lisa Brown and masterclasses from Linda Booth and Pam Shanker
Lovely to see Frances Day, Heather Hornby and Jean McDonald.
And to top the month off, we had a lovely Dream Team meeting at our new location for the Bolton networking events.Thank you Suzy Orr, Dawn Roberts and Lisa Brown.Sorry to miss you this time Nicola Sheard and Rachel Selby.
From January 2025, Bolton face to face meetings will be at the Mercure Bolton Georgian House Hotel
What’s happening in December?
We are resting and catching up with family and friends and getting ready for 2025!
If any of what we do sounds of interest, then please do check out our website. And if you want to experience the Unique Ladies way but are not local to Bolton, check out the other groups across the North West and also our UK Online session for those further afield.
We would like to say a very big thank you to everyone who has supported us and our network in the first half of our networking year – it really is an absolute pleasure to be able to facilitate and co-ordinate the area and so many ladies in the business and personal development.
Looking forward to the rest now for the next 6 weeks before we start again in the new year – lots of very exciting things coming in 2025!
Have a great month, lots of love and remember – continue to be amazing, at being you x
