Volunteers Needed in Bolton

Save the Children are running a programme called Born to Read. This is a children’s literacy programme which is running in Bolton. Unique Ladies have been approached to help raise awareness through our network.  Save the Children are working in partnership with the charity Beanstalk, to place volunteers in primary schools in Bolton and help children who are struggling with reading. They are currently recruiting volunteers for Reading Helper roles.  Our aim is to help children from poor or disadvantaged families fulfil their potential and supporting them to become confident readers is a key part of this. It’s also a great opportunity for volunteers and there is initial training and ongoing support. For further information
