Monica is a Chartered Financial Planner at Prospera Wealth Management LLP, a Senior Partner Practice of St James’s Place.
I have been advising clients for over 20 years and seen so many changes in the industry. I became self employed coming up to 2 years ago and have never looked back. Rather than being targeted to produce ridiculous amount of fees for a corporate body I am now in control of the work I do and this gives me the ability to put what is right for a client at the heart of everything I do without bias.
Doing right by your clients should always be what drives a Financial Adviser because if you do right by someone, they will do right by you. I do not advertise but choose to grow my business by word of mouth and referrals.
My specialties are Pension’s, Investments, tax planning and IHT planning, Long term care planning and I also specialise in the NHS Pension scheme having work with hospital consultants for over 6 years.

What’s your favourite…
…holiday destination? Thailand. I fell in love on first visit, been 4 times and got married there a couple of years ago. Favorite Island Ko Lanta.
…food? Italian, love all the carbs!
…music? 80’s Soul and of course growing up in the eighties nineties, piano tunes!!
An interesting fact?
I was born in Australia and hold dual citizenship with the UK and Australia. My Mum and Dad went to Australia on a work permit back in the 60’s and me and my brother where born there. My husband does not know it yet, but I would like to retire out there one day.
